Mental Health Resources

The mental health resources below are not an exhaustive list of the resources that are within Dane County. The resources below are voluntary.  To access these services, an individual needs to be willing and wanting of the service.  We would encourage you to contact the BHRC if there are questions about additional options, insurance coverage, or other concerns.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis, please contact 988 or contact the Journey Mental Health Crisis Line at 280-2600. If you or another are experiencing a mental health crisis and there is immediate risk of for yourself or others, please call 911 or go directly to the nearest emergency room.

  • Clinic Based Services
    • UJIMA Program - UJIMA is an Inclusive space for people of color with an emphasis on the lived experience of those who identify as Black or of African descent, serving historically oppressed groups from a family-based trauma informed approach.
    • Clinica Latina - Eligible individuals include Spanish speaking adult residents of Dane County who find it difficult to access traditional mental health and substance abuse services
